Ibis Budget Zurich Airport Hotel is 5 minutes away from the Zurich Airport. It’s accessible by tram. Take the tram number 10 from the airport & get down on the 2nd stop. Good location if you want to stay near the airport. Same tram goes to the Zurich center & it takes approximately 25 minutes to reach there.
Staff
I met only the receptionist at the front desk, didn’t get a chance to meet more staff members. But from the first & only impression, the receptionist did sound warm & helpful.
Sleep Quality
Rooms are very compact yet elegant. It contains everything you need in a normal room like Toilet, Bathroom, Basin, Lights, TV, Comfortable bed & Storage place. WiFi connectivity is amazing.
Kitchen Facilities
They don’t have a separate kitchen because it’s a proper hotel. But they do have a facility where they’ve kept microwave. They also have some vending machines near the reception. But I’ll suggest you to take the tram to the Zurich airport & indulge in the delicacies offered in the airport itself. (You don’t need air tickets, don’t worry!)
Other Amenities
The only weird thing about the room’s toilet & bathroom was that they didn’t have locks on the doors. It’s very weird since they are essential in a room for 3 people.
Overall
Overall, ibis Budget Zurich Airport Hotel is a good option if you want to stay near the airport. Not a good option if you want to go explore the rest of the Switzerland AND if you have a lot of luggage.
