Do Step Inn: Vienna's Nice & Inexpensive Hostel

Do Step Inn is a fine Viennese hostel located in a very peaceful area of Vienna, Austria.

Location

When I look for hostels on various websites, I look out for their location. The best part about Do Step Inn is its location. It is conveniently located. Westbahnof is only 5 minutes’ walk from the hostel (many inter-city & inter-country trains depart from here). Centre & all the attractions can be reached easily. Westbahnhof is not only a train station but also a prominent metro & tram station.

On the train station, there are many eateries & supermarkets as well.

Staff

A hostel’s hospitality is also known by its staff’s behaviour & helpfulness. Do Step Inn’s staff was really helpful. Right from the check-in, facilities check, showing the room to helping us with the map, the staff did everything right.

We also got some cool welcome drinks from them! Yay!

They sometimes go out of their way to help you. They will run Google searches if they don’t know something about Vienna (Mostly they know everything but still).

Sleep Quality

When I stay at any hostel, I look at 3 things – First, the size of the room. Do Step Inn’s room was quite spacious. There was enough space to keep luggage & roam around. Second, the bed quality. The wooden beds were aesthetically pleasing & so comfortable. I slept like a baby for 3 nights! Third, bed linen, pillow cover & blanket. They were clean, smelled nice & there was no additional cost on it!

Kitchen Facility

Kitchen is one of the major deciding factor while choosing a hostel. Do Step Inn’s kitchen is HUGE! I mean really huge! It’s clean, spacious & it has everything that you might need to cook.

You can buy supplies from nearby supermarkets. If you are bored to cook, there are certain vending machines in the kitchen as well.

Other Amenities

WiFi is really fast. Toilets & showers are tidy. A small garden, sitting area, chilled-out lounge, a huge life-size chess board (which you can actually play), laundry facility, phew! There are a lot of amenities available at Do Step Inn.
