Review: Sleep Well Youth Hostel, Brussels

We stayed at Sleep Well Youth Hostel for 4 nights during our visit to Brussels. Here is a detailed review of the hostel!

Location

Sleep Well Youth Hostel

The location of Sleep Well Youth Hostel is great. Its only 10 mins walking from Brussels Noord station. It helps a lot if you want to take day trips to Bruges, Ghent or any other destination. Public transportation is also only 5 mins away. Also, one of the famous attractions of Brussels – Belgium Comic Book Museum is also located about only 7 mins away from the hostel.

Staff

Staff of Sleep Well Youth Hostel is really good. Right from the receptionist to the bartender to the cleaning staff, everyone is always smiling & ready to help. Staff at the reception always has some insider tips about exploring Brussels so do keep their tips in mind while visiting the city.

Sleep Quality

The rooms of Sleep Well Youth Hostel are of a decent size. However, we would have loved it even more if the rooms were a little bigger. Beds are soft. They give mattresses & bed sheets for free, which are also neat & clean. You can get a fresh towel by paying only €1. They have private bathrooms in most of the rooms which are quite spacious & hygienic.

Food Quality

Breakfast is free & the spread is moderate. More choices would’ve been better. There is no kitchen in the hostel, but according to Olivier, that’s going to be open later this year for sure, so yay! They do have a microwave, a kettle, few vending machines for snacks, soft drinks etc.

Amenities

Sleep Well Youth Hostel is definitely one of the most beautifully made hostels we’ve stayed at. The common area is quite huge. You can meet up people on a game of pool, or on their quaint bar. They also have a foosball table & graffiti walls painted by the famous Belgian Cartoonist – Johan De Moor!

Overall

The Sleep Well Youth Hostel will offer you a pleasant stay when you are in Brussels. Once their kitchen opens, I feel this hostel will be complete in its own.
