Scandic Berlin Potsdamer Platz is one of the best hotels in Berlin. We stayed here for 2 nights & here is a detailed review of the hotel.
Location
Scandic Berlin Potsdamer Platz, as the name suggests, is very close to Potsdamer Platz. Most of the famous attractions of Berlin can be reached via public transport. There is a metro station 3 mins away from the hotel. You can get buses from the bus stop which is only 5 mins away. Also, the location of the hotel is very peaceful. You can also find many restaurants, cafes, bars & malls by just walking for 5 mins.
Staff
When it comes to luxury hotels like Scandic Berlin Potsdamer Platz, the staff matters a lot. Great thing about the hotel is that everyone in the hotel is very friendly, helpful & always smiling. The staff at Scandic definitely made our stay a lot more pleasant than it already was.
Room Quality
One word – Amazing. The rooms of Scandic Berlin Potsdamer Platz are cosy & of the perfect size. The beds are soft, bathroom is clean & spacious & of course, it comes with other good things like TV, Wardrobe, Tea & Coffee set. Once you get in the room, you won’t feel like coming out. (Don’t do that, Berlin has a lot to explore!)
Food Quality
The breakfast spread is so huge that you might just feel satisfied by looking at it. The variety of items for breakfast is impressive. They do keep different needs of the guests in mind. Eg: There are separate items for lactose intolerants. If you have any sort of allergy, don’t worry. Scandic Berlin Potsdamer Platz is so considerate about allergies that they mention each & every allergens on all food items.
The bar looks great as well. They have varieties of liquor. You should definitely spend an evening at Scandic Berlin Potsdamer Platz’s bar.
Amenities
Their Wi-Fi works great. If fitness is a major factor, then worry not! They do a have full-fledged gym. They do offer other services like laundry, 24 hours shop near the reception & parking for your car.
Overall
It doesn’t matter if you are in Berlin for a tourism or business, Scandic Berlin Potsdamer Platz is a great place to stay when you are in Berlin. It is away from all the hustle bustle of the city & yet close to all the important places.
