“There’s no better feeling in the world than a warm pizza box on your lap.”
Mercato Pizzeria
Mercato is a small Pizzeria located near Interlaken West station. It’s just a 5 minutes walking distance from the train station.
I had my dinner from Mercato for 3 nights in a row. I was not disappointed even once. There were many reasons why I ate Pizzas for 3 nights from the same place. Being on a budget trip, Mercato provided a very pocket friendly option to have dinner. Their Pizzas are so big that 2 people can easily eat well in a single pizza.
Apart from being on budget, I am a vegetarian as well. Usually, it’s difficult to find vegetarian food in Europe but Mercato had a separate menu for vegetarians. Apart from Pizza, you will also find Pastas, Risottos, Italian desserts & wines on their menu as well. All are budget friendly compared to other eateries of Switzerland.
They have separate rates for dine-in & takeaway. If your hotel/hostel is nearby, takeaway the food & eat it in your hostel’s dining room. You’ll save CHF 4 per Pizza. Not that it will save you a lot but when you are on a budget, every penny counts.
Overall, go to this fab Pizzeria for their vegetarian menu, budget friendly rates, superfast service & yummiest food.
