We stayed at Irena’s apartment for 2 nights in Omiš during our visit to Split. Her father-in-law Mario really helped us a lot. He came to pick us up by car, helped to carry our luggage upstairs & showed us the entire house. Omiš is approximately 35-40 minutes away from Split bus station. The frequency of buses is high & it’s possible to reach Split anytime of the day.
Location
Irene’s Apartment in Omiš is located on a hill. If you do not have a vehicle, you will have to walk up the hill (it was quite tiring for me) for 15 mins to reach the house. The view from the apartment is indeed beautiful. You might not want to get out of the balcony.
Hospitality
Full marks for hospitality. Irene gave us a tour of Split town. Mario helped us with finding the house & luggage. The fridge had some amazing welcome gift – Beers, fruits & desserts. This gesture was heartfelt! Irena also recommended a really good restaurant in the city center.
Sleep Quality
The beds in Irena’s apartment are comfortable. The small room upstairs is something to fight for with your friends. It’ll be a pleasantly memorable experience. Bedroom was clean & bed linens, pillow covers, blankets were provided.
Kitchen Facility
I loved Irena’s kitchen. It’s one of the best. It has everything. There are all facilities that are mentioned in the description, which is a great thing! Cook in the kitchen & enjoy your meal in the balcony which offers sea view.
Other Amenities
WiFi was fast. There’s a washing machine which works well. Apart from that, the house has nice things to do. In the night, you can make use of the BBQ facility on the ground floor. Give it a try.
Overall
Irena hosted us really well & we loved her sea-view apartment. I recommend Irena’s apartment.
